Want a quick tip to get more listeners?

Today, let’s talk about hashtags. They’re very important in Twitter and Instagram, and you can get a lot of listeners by posting your Flash Briefings there. 

Most of the hashtags I see people using are useless. You want to use hashtags to help your future listeners find your briefing. Think of a hashtag as a search term and it might make more sense.

As an example, if your briefing is about bass fishing, use terms bass fishermen would search to discover new accounts to follow, like #fishing or #bassmaster. Stay away from cute or ironic hashtags, because no one is searching for those terms.
